Nancy Hammond's first signed and numbered annual poster was published in 1997 at her Annapolis gallery. This poster release soon became a phenomenon with people lined up around the block. There, on the  sidewalks,were frisbee, checker and card games as well as sterno stoves and picnics into the wee hours.  In years past, many patrons camped out overnight outside of the gallery for a chance to buy one of the first 100 posters, which sell for $45. each.

The price quickly rises after the first 100 are sold and the last poster in the edition sells for $3,000.

But…

For the first time since 1997, the Nancy Hammond Editions annual poster will be one price, $65, the day of the release on Saturday October 20th.

Polish Sausages from Ostrowski's in Baltimore and Homemade treats by Christina's Catering will be served all day!

Person to Person sales in gallery only on Saturday October 20th.  The price will increase the next day, on Sunday October 21st, starting at $150.   

Phone and Internet orders will be taken then.  As the edition sells, the price increases and the last poster in the edition sells for $3000.
